Sigma Chi: Alpha Lambda Chapter, University of Wisconsin
Parents & Guests
For a detailed overview of the Alpha Lambda Chapter and the Sigma Chi Fraternity, please click on the following link for a PowerPoint Summary.

Parental involvement is a major part of the Alpha Lambda Chapter. The men of Sigma Chi realize that they would not be where they are at today without the help and guidance of their parents. Therefore, the house has a number of special events planned to welcome parents to the University of Wisconsin this year.

The University of Wisconsin Parents’ Weekend will take place the weekend of October 18-20, and the Alpha Lambda Chapter would like to invite all parents to visit their sons on campus at this time. Events will be planned for the night of October 18, and the brothers of the Alpha Lambda Chapter will be hosting a breakfast for their parents the morning of October 19, as well as Chapter house tours before everyone heads to Camp Randall Stadium to watch the Badgers football team take on Illinois University. The time of the game is 7 pm. More events will be planned for the night of October 19. It is sure to be a weekend that no one will want to miss!

The brothers of the Alpha Lambda Chapter are also eager to invite their parents back to campus second semester. A second annual dad’s weekend is in the works for early second semester. A specific date has not yet been set, but festivities will no doubt be taking place at the Kollege Klub and other venues around campus all weekend.

If parents have any questions about the upcoming festivities or simply general questions about the fraternity, feel free to email Kurt Mittelstadt, President of the Alpha Lambda Chapter, at kvmittelstad@wisc.edu. Otherwise, stay tuned for more details to come!
